What is Zoom! Teeth Whitening?
Zoom!, true to its name, offers rapid teeth whitening—up to eight shades whiter— in just one visit to our office. It’s an easy and convenient solution for anyone looking for a fast pre-holiday appearance enhancement.
The Zoom! Whitening Process
The steps in the Zoom! whitening process are:
- Protect Gums: We apply protective shields to your gums and lips.
- Apply Gel: Our team applies Zoom! whitening gel (25% hydrogen peroxide) to each tooth.
- Administer Light: The next step is applying a special blue light to your teeth for 15 minutes. The light activates the hydrogen peroxide and draws oxygen into the stains on your teeth. This breaks the stains down and lifts them out of your teeth without altering your tooth structure.
- Additional Cycles: After your first light session, we immediately remove the remaining gel and apply fresh gel to your teeth to repeat the light cycle. A Zoom! treatment includes four cycles, each 15 minutes, for a total treatment time of about an hour.
You’ll leave our office with a white and bright smile! We also prescribe Sapphire Lumibrite, a high-concentration peroxide tray system, to help you keep your teeth bright at home after your Zoom! session. These take-home trays require just three minutes of wear daily.
